Our Dream

We believe in Colombia, and its countryside. After more than two years of a conscious research looking for a sustainable future Equilibria Agro decided to invest and make a safe bet in Colombian agriculture thus we began planting Persian Lime to bring the best of our country to the world’s markets with amazing quality limes grown with love in Colombia’s valleys.

We structured an ambitious project of 2,000 hectares this will let us sell our delicious limes to most markets in the world. Our project brings together land owners, with terrains suitable to grow lime, smart and bold investors who provide resources for innovation to flourish. Exporters who guarantee our product abroad with the best quality, and an amazing and dedicated team on the ground making things happen and leaving it all on the field.

Currently, and since September 2017, we are in the establishment of the first stage "Citricos del Poblanco". Of the 150 hectares that make up this project we have planted 70. We have generated 30 direct and stable jobs. Our trees come from Colombia’s best nursery and the rootstock in which they are grafted provides resistance to climate, and tolerance to disease and pests. Using state of the art drip irrigation systems and precision agriculture in which our trees are individually GPS tagged we have near real time knowledge of our trees.

In parallel, we’ve opened the fundraising of the second stage "BioLimes" project, it is currently at 39% of total funding. At the rate we're going, we projected that the 13 stages of the project will be established by 2021 and 2025 "Persian” as a group will be one of the world’s largest Persian Lime growers and exporters.
